If your key is snapped inside the barrel, we extract it without damaging the door. For rental flats and PGs across Amberpet and Dilsukhnagar, we also do bulk lock changes at a per-unit rate.
Hinge, alignment and squeak fixes
A drooping door is almost always a hinge problem. We replace butt hinges (₹350), re-tighten screws into fresh wood plugs when the old screw holes are stripped, re-align the door on the frame (₹299), and silence squeaks with proper hinge greasing and a small alignment adjustment (₹199). If the frame itself has cracked at the hinge line — common on old teak doors — we do frame repairs from ₹499 with matching wood filler and polish.
New wooden door and frame installation
Replacing a full door is a two-person job that includes removing the old panel, checking the frame for termite damage, planing the new door to fit, transferring the lock mortise, and fitting hinges plus handle set. Wooden door installation starts at ₹800 for the labour; you can supply your own door or we can source flush doors, engineered doors and readymade teak doors on request. For bathroom doors we recommend PVC or WPC panels which resist water — installation from ₹350.
Polish, touch-ups and cosmetic repair
Small dents, scratched veneer and faded polish age a door faster than actual damage. Our door polish and touch-up service (₹399) covers cleaning, wood filler on nicks, a fresh coat of matching polish or Melamine, and buffing. Combined with a hinge tightening and lock service, an old-looking door can be brought back to near-new condition for under ₹1,000.
