Per-hole drilling and honest pricing
Drilling is priced simply: ₹70 per hole with the correct anchor plug included. This covers marking, drilling with a hammer drill, cleaning the dust, inserting the appropriate Fischer or Hilti-style plug, and driving the screw. Bulk work — say, ten holes for a wall-of-frames — is quoted at a lower per-hole rate. There is a small visit charge if the job is under ₹300 total, so most people combine drilling with other small carpentry tasks.
Photo frames, mirrors and artwork
We hang photo frames (₹99 each), mirrors (₹199 including the heavier D-ring hardware needed for glass), wall clocks (₹99) and paintings or canvases (₹149). For a gallery wall or a group of frames, we lay them out on the floor first, mark spacing on the wall with painter's tape and level everything so the arrangement is perfectly aligned before a single hole is drilled.
Curtain rods, blinds and window treatments
Curtain rod installation is ₹249 per rod including brackets and end caps — this covers standard 4–8 ft rods and up to three drill points. For heavier double rods with sheers, or ceiling-mounted rails, the price adjusts based on brackets. Roller blind and Venetian blind installation is quoted on site. We always check for concealed wiring before drilling above windows.
Shelves, hooks and bathroom fittings
Wall shelves start at ₹299 with concealed brackets that carry up to 15 kg per foot. Glass shelves for bathrooms are ₹200 including anti-vibration mounts. Towel rods (₹149), soap dishes (₹99) and hook / hanger fittings (₹99) round out the bathroom kit. If tiles are already installed, we use a diamond bit and go slow — no cracked tiles.
Wall type matters — we bring the right plugs
The reason DIY drilling fails in Hyderabad flats is the wrong plug. RCC needs a masonry bit and a nylon plug; hollow AAC / Siporex block needs a specific hollow-wall anchor; a stud wall needs toggle bolts. Our carpenters carry all three, plus stainless steel screws for humid rooms and bathrooms. You get the right hardware for your wall, not a mystery plug from the corner shop.
