    Hinge repair, replacement and shutter alignment

    Broken or drooping shutters are the #1 cupboard complaint we receive. Modern kitchen and wardrobe cupboards use auto-close hydraulic hinges which fail after 4–5 years of daily use. We replace them from ₹350 per shutter including hinge cost for standard sizes, then re-align the shutter so the gap between doors is even. If the hinge cup is stripped in the particle board, we plug it with a wooden dowel and re-drill so the new hinge holds properly — this is why cheap repairs fail within weeks.

    Drawer channel and slide repair

    Jammed, sagging or noisy drawers usually need a channel replacement. We stock telescopic ball-bearing channels and soft-close channels in 12", 14", 16", 18" and 20" sizes. Replacement is ₹450 per pair including labour. We also fix drawers that keep falling out, drawer fronts that have come loose from the box, and MDF drawer bottoms that have sagged from overloading.

    Locks, handles, magnets and small hardware

    Small hardware fails first and is often ignored until the whole cupboard feels shabby. We replace shutter locks (₹250), install fresh handles (₹99–₹199 depending on type), fit new roller catches or magnetic catches (₹99), and add child safety latches on lower cupboards. If your cupboard has never had a proper lock, we can retrofit a cam lock without visible damage to the shutter face.

    Full cupboard and wardrobe assembly

    For flat-pack cupboards from IKEA, Godrej Interio, HomeTown, Urban Ladder, Pepperfry and other brands we do full assembly with proper torque on cam-lock screws (over-tightening splits particle board — a very common DIY mistake). Assembly is quoted per unit based on size and complexity; a standard 3-door wardrobe with drawers is usually ₹1,200–₹2,000 including levelling and wall anchoring for safety.

    Sliding wardrobe track and roller repair

    Sliding wardrobe shutters jam when the top track collects dust or the bottom rollers wear out. We clean and re-align the track, replace bottom rollers, adjust the height so shutters glide smoothly, and add anti-jump clips so the shutter can't be lifted off the track by accident. Sliding track service starts at ₹499 per shutter.
