Wood painting — enamel vs melamine vs PU coating
The three coating systems for wood are: (1) Enamel — economical (₹599 per door), high-gloss, easy to apply, 3-year life; best for old wooden doors and windows already painted before. (2) Melamine polish — brings out natural wood grain, protects with a clear glossy or matte film, 5-year life; best for teak, sheesham and rosewood furniture where the wood grain should show. (3) PU (polyurethane) coating — most durable, waterproof, scratch-resistant, 8-year life; best for expensive new furniture, kitchen cabinets and staircases with heavy use. We do all three; the right choice depends on your wood type and budget.
Metal painting — why anti-rust primer is non-negotiable
Painting metal without an anti-rust primer is guaranteed money wasted — the rust silently continues under the topcoat and pops up as brown bubbles within 12 months. Every metal surface we paint gets: wire-brush or angle-grinder cleaning to bare metal, red-oxide anti-rust primer coat, 12-hour drying, and two coats of Asian Paints Apcolite enamel or Berger Luxol High Gloss. For main gates and outdoor railings exposed to monsoon, we upgrade the primer to zinc-phosphate at a small extra charge for double the corrosion protection.
Main door polish and re-polish — restoring the first impression
Your main door is the first thing every visitor sees, and Hyderabad summers turn a beautiful teak door into a faded, patchy mess in 3-4 years. Our re-polish service (₹599) includes stripping the old polish with polish remover, sanding the door smooth with 220-grit paper, one coat of wood filler, two coats of melamine polish in your chosen shade (walnut, mahogany, natural teak, rosewood) and a final buff for the mirror-shine finish. Every grill job includes newspaper masking taped to the glass with painters' tape, drop-cloth on the floor and sill, and post-work removal without any adhesive residue. Warranty and coverage
1-year written warranty on peeling, bubbling and rust popping under normal indoor use. Warranty is 6 months on outdoor gates and grills due to direct sun and rain exposure — but a full re-polish at year 4 or 5 is normal and expected for any outdoor metal in Hyderabad.
